 ZERO Article vs THE

Today class was very interesting for me, but at the beginning I found it very complicated😬 because I hadn’t studied anything related to transportation 🛫🚗🚎 or vacations 🧳before. However, when teacher Dalila explained the topic 👩🏻‍🏫 I understood it very well. I understood it even better when we did activities in pairs. Another topic that I hadn’t seen in previous courses was “ZERO Article vs THE” 🚫🫵🏻 This topic explains that “THE” 🫵🏻 is used to describe oceans and seas, rivers, mountain ranges, deserts, countries with words like republic or states, and geographical areas. On the other hand, the “ZERO” 🚫 article is used when nothing is placed before nouns, such as continents, countries, states, cities and towns, street names, lakes, and a single mountain. In conclusion, today I learned a lot. 🩵☺️
